SAM-I's former President, Kyle Denning, was awarded the Grand Valley State Immediate Impact Award for his work in recreating the group and setting a new standard for future generations to follow. However, more importantly he has focused on making the group sustainable, so that the recent success will continue. After Kyle graduates in December, 2008, there is little doubt that SAM-I will continue to be one of the most recognized and successful organizations within the business school because of the up and coming members waiting the opportunity to further enhance the group's impact on campus.
